Gorgeous vintage estate 14k yellow gold pendant/brooch features a large purple amethyst, a seed pearl halo, and a pearl drop. Beautiful open work filigree with beaded accents. Measures 1-5/8" x 1-3/8". The oval faceted purple amethyst has richly saturated color and is mounted in a multi-prong dog toothed setting with twisted gold rope border. The amethyst measures 15mm x 12mm x 7mm (6.68 carat). The 18k gold twisted rope link chain measures 22" in length with spring ring clasp. The spring ring and the jump ring are both marked "18K". Extremely well made with a nice sturdy heavy weight of 10.3 grams. The pendant can also be worn as a brooch pin, it has a generous bail on the back which is large enough to completely remove the chain, so that if you wished to wear the chain by itself, or with another pendant, you could. The brooch pin assembly has a fold over safety clasp. Hallmarked "14K" on the back of the pendant. In outstanding very well babied condition, vintage estate, no more than 50 years in age.

Signed by maker Wasko (NY, NY). Wasko Gold Products Group- (New York, New York). Advertisements found in the jewelry trade publication Jewelers Circular-Keystone from 1973 to present. Wasko boasts possibly to utilize more gold precious metal than any other American jewelry manufacturer. They have been in business since 1938. The last known JCK 1982 trade listing stated that the company was "In Limbo".

Returns and exchange details

OUR RETURN/REFUND POLICY:

If you wish to return an item, you MUST notify us within the allowable THREE (3) DAY INSPECTION PERIOD after you receive it. We will refer to the USPS delivery confirmation (tracking) date that was provided to you at the time of your purchase. Layaway's are Non-Refundable. We do not charge restock fees for returns. Your time is valuable, as is ours- please contact us with any questions you may have BEFORE ordering. Read the description carefully for accurate measurements. If you are unsure, contact us for further clarification, as no exceptions will be made to our return/refund policy. WE ARE HAPPY TO PROVIDE A VIDEO OF ANY PIECE IN OUR INVENTORY- JUST ASK!

The following conditions apply:

1) The item must be mailed back to us within 7 days of your notification of return.

2) The item must be returned via US Postal Service, in its original packaging, insured for the full purchase price with tracking. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Please provide us with the tracking number once posted.

3) The item must be received in the same condition as when it was shipped to you, with any tags or identifying marks intact.

In case of items damaged or lost during in shipment, please notify us immediately upon receipt of the parcel, and we will provide you with information regarding filing a claim with USPS. DO NOT RETURN ITEMS DAMAGED IN SHIPPING WITHOUT FIRST CONTACTING US, AS DOING SO WILL VOID THE UNITED STATES POST OFFICE SHIPPING INSURANCE POLICIES. Be sure to keep all the original packaging, as well as all pieces of the damaged item. USPS will ask to examine the parcel when the claim is filed.

USPS requires a waiting period of 30 days from the date of mailing before filing a claim for lost items. If you have not received your parcel within a reasonable period of time after receiving our notice of shipment, please email us to report the problem. USPS may ask to review email correspondence between the buyer and seller to confirm details and verify the loss.
